I have joined a book discussion. I know, not quite revolutionary, or is it? When we open ourselves up to other peoples' interpretation of a common read, we invite provocation to our own thoughts on it. It is an exercise for each of us that is not without pain, but results in growth; for our little grey cells, our emotional balance and our understanding of human behavior. So, perhaps it is revolutionary ormicro-revolutionary in that as I take in other peoples' views on something I have my own set of views on, I may change my perspective. I encourage others to reexamine familiar things or comfortable thoughts through other peoples' perspectives. Perhaps when we understand a little better ourselves and other people, we can be a little kinder in our every day. Perhaps we can build bridges towards each other and treat other humans with respect even if our ideas are different.
