Mother Earth

Mama whispered in my ear she loved me as no other

I turned my head before she finished, distracted by another

Screaming how unfair life was, I think it was my brother

He stomped away, the spoiled brat, assuming to take cover

Left a trail in his wake - pieces I discover

Sadly I try to reconstruct my once lovely Mother
