life in 17 syllables

What is a haiku?

I asked Google, who told me:

Not that which you write!

hai·ku

ˈhīˌko͞o/

noun: haiku; plural noun: haikus; plural noun: haiku

  1. a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world. 2. an English imitation of this.

So I write:

Wind on my face, soft.

Stirs my soul to flight like the

dandelion seed.
