As time continues in this home-school year for the kids, I continue to struggle to find that sweet place that engages them to learn without boring them to death. I don't seem to have found that, based on their groans and eye rolling. There is a large chasm between my training and my desire. In my search I came across an article which extolls all that I am wanting to help them with. The following link takes you to that article (with ads, sorry): http://qz.com/845834/a-stealthy-education-revolution-worldwide-is-giving-kids-the-skills-to-be-21st-century-citizens/?mc_cid=502399f65a&mc_eid=b6b937e8d4
As I explore ways in which I can incorporate these strategies into their school-life while continuing to work (and write and paint and manage the house and do the shopping...) I would be open to some thoughtful suggestions.
